Lou Ann Sabatier

Lou Ann Sabatier is a communications strategist, publishing executive, and international advocate for freedom of religion or belief (FoRB). As Principal and Lead Consultant of Sabatier Consulting, she has spent more than 40 years advising organizations globally—including nonprofit organizations, associations, businesses, and government agencies—on business strategy, marketing and communications, and organizational development.

Since 2016, she has served as Director of Communications for 21Wilberforce, a Christian human rights organization advancing freedom of religion, belief, and conscience worldwide. She is the co-author of the 20th and 25th Anniversary Retrospectives of the International Religious Freedom Act.

A recognized leader in the global FoRB movement, Sabatier co-founded the International Religious Freedom Roundtable Women's Working Group and the FoRB Women's Alliance, a global initiative that informs, connects, and resources women advancing religious freedom. In 2025, she received the International Religious Freedom Builder Award in recognition of her contributions to advancing freedom of religion or belief worldwide.
