Rev. Sr. Edwina Okeawolam has a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science and works in a mission hospital as a Medical Personnel. The hospital is in a rural-urban setting with 60% of the residents living below the poverty level.

Rev. Sr. Edwina Okeawolam belongs to the congregation of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent De Paul. Her faith teaches her that God is love and anyone that abides in love, abides in God. She believes that Jesus taught her how to live a sacrificial life as a leader, and now being in a leadership position she’s able to follow in the footsteps of Christ by leading as a servant.
