Kim Viet Ngo graduated from George Mason University with a double major in Social Work and Communications. She is the Co-founder and Vice President of Teresa Charities Inc., a non-profit organization. She also founded Teresa Global LLC, a for-profit company that donates a portion of the profits to help support the missions of Teresa Charities and serves as the current President.

More recently, Kim established Teresa Farm LLC. which acts as a representative for the local asian community and liaisons between local government, the Catholic Church and the community on the Eastern Shore in Virginia. Kim focuses on helping women in the rural areas of Virginia, Maryland, and the Vietnamese countryside.
