Daniela Alba is originally from Bogota, Colombia and immigrated to the United States at an early age. She currently works as a donor relations coordinator at the Jesuit Refugee Service in Rome, Italy.

Daniela holds a master’s degree from The American University of Rome in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Bachelor's degree in philosophy with a minor in classics from Brooklyn College at the City University of New York. She is committed to working against gender-based violence and for education access and cross-cultural advocacy of people with lived experience of displacement.
